Combining the pressures of work and children can be stressful and challenging, as well as rewarding. It doesn't matter whether you're a new parent, or re-adjusting as your child grows and their care needs change - it's a difficult balancing act.
The Shell Childcare Search service helps to alleviate these challenges, making finding the right childcare solution for your family that much easier.
Our childcare consultants will:
- Identify your childcare requirements by discussing your needs, attitudes and preferences in detail
- Identify relevant options for childcare to suit your needs and budget (childminder, nanny or nursery)
- Help you, as parents, decide on your criteria for selection and arrange visits and interviews
- Place advertisements online, contact agencies and assist with interviews if you need a nanny
- Advise you on the local costs for your preferred type of childcare
- Help with questions on legal and financial matters related to childcare.
All discussions with Shell employees are confidential, within our usual terms and conditions.
To get started, simply arrange a consultation with one of our specialists. We'll arrange a good time with you for the phone or video conference call consultation.
It works best if you have completed our enquiry form - so that your consultant will be prepared before your discussion.

The initial consultation can be whenever you like: our consultants will do their best to meet your needs including early morning, late afternoon or outside normal hours, where possible.
We have a nationwide team of care experts that will:

- Research available childcare, including phone interviewing of nannies where appropriate.

During the initial consultation, the care expert assigned to you will discuss your needs and options in detail. Together you will formulate a detailed set of needs around care provision, best suited to your circumstances.
