Ongoing Care
Adult & Eldercare Search
A high level, personalised service for Shell employees
Combining the pressures of work and care can be stressful and challenging, as well as rewarding. If your parents or other adult dependants now rely on you for support, or a close relative has declining health - it can be very stressful.
We're here to help you keep work+family working together.
The Shell Adult & Eldercare Search service helps to alleviate these challenges, making finding the right care solution for your family that much easier.
Our adult & eldercare consultants will:
- Identify your requirements by discussing you and your loved ones' needs, attitudes and preferences in detail
- Identify relevant care options to suit your needs and budget (home care, residential care, or respite care)
- Explain all the options available - once you understand what's available and how the UK's eldercare market works, agreeing on the right solution for you becomes much clearer
- Help you decide on your criteria for selection and arrange visits and interviews
- Help with questions on legal and financial matters related to adult / eldercare, such as applying for Grants from the Social Fund and accessing Benefits, as relevant.
All discussions with Shell employees are confidential, within our usual terms and conditions.
To get started, simply arrange a consultation with one of our specialists. We'll arrange a good time with you for the phone or video conference call consultation
It works best if you have completed our enquiry form - so that your consultant will be prepared before your discussion.
Alternatively, please call us on 0800 247 1101 or email support@myfamilycare.co.uk and we will get in touch to arrange a consultation time to suit you. Please note, our admin team available 7:00am to 7:00pm, Monday to Friday.
The initial consultation can be whenever you like: our consultants will do their best to meet your needs including early morning, late afternoon or outside normal hours, where possible.
We have a nationwide team of care experts that will:
- Arrange a consultation at a time to suit you
- Take the time to understand your care needs
- Provide dependant care advice
- Research available dependant care options, suited to your needs and preferences.
Our trained adult/eldercare advisors aim to give working carers complete peace of mind.
During the initial consultation, the care expert assigned to you will discuss your needs and options in detail. Together you will formulate a detailed set of needs around care provision, best suited to your circumstances.
