Interim Findings Of Shared Parental Leave Research
Read the preliminary findings of recent research undertaken by the Equal Parenting Project at Birmingham University Business School. It explores approaches to promoting gender equality in the workplace by highlighting barriers to take-up of Shared Parental Leave (SPL).
Interviews, focus groups and quantitative survey research have been used to examine why take-up of SPL has been low in the UK in order to offer recommendations for increasing SPL take-up and driving workplace gender equality in the UK.
