'Tis the season

There wasn't too much evidence of festive cheer in December's news...

Germany decided to press ahead with quotas. Harriet Green, the toughest female boss out there, was roughly ejected from the Thomas Cook plane she was flying. And the 30% Club turned all hypocritical when the focus started to shift from gender diversity to ethnic diversity.

Working from home

Intel and Dell's Global Evolving Workforce Survey confirmed what we all know. Homeworkers spend their time watching TV - or at least that's the prevailing perception at least.

2015 and working carers

Paul Burstow's review of homecare services found an industry close to crisis. 2015 might just be the year when 'working carers' receive the support they need.

A bottle of 'Daughter Water'

And finally confirmation from Down Under that companies whose CEO's have daughters have small gender pay gaps. It should be obvious but reassuring anyway. The findings were widely shared via the hilarious Daughter Water campaign.

As the large man in red says: "ho ho ho".
