Child & Dependent Care Helpline

While the Internet can provide many answers, sometimes speaking to a friendly expert is the easiest, quickest and cheapest way to help an employee find the solution they need.

We believe we offer the best available Helpline specialising in child and dependent care:

  • It's staffed by childcare and eldercare experts
  • For childcare queries you will speak to a qualified childcarer or early years teacher experienced in the UK childcare market
  • In all likelihood they will have helped a number of working parents through the maternity transition before. We know that finding childcare is rarely done in isolation of work and career demands
  • For eldercare and dependent care queries you will speak to someone who has worked in social care or for the NHS and who knows how to navigate the system
  • Local advice can be more relevant - wherever possible we try and route all calls through to the best local expert we have available.

Our Helpline doesn't stop with the initial phone call. We are there for any issues that an employee, carer or parent might have.

Our role often involves hours of detailed research behind the scenes: finding local care homes with spaces; placing adverts for nannies; finding local nurseries. Whatever the question, our job is to provide the answer.

Our Library of Factsheets

The Helpline is supported by a large library of useful, easy to download factsheets. We're constantly updating the factsheet library, which currently includes over 40 different downloads.
