The service provided was excellent and helped me through a difficult time when my mother was not well and had recently had a fall. It saved me a lot of time and I was impressed with the Consultants knowledge and help and confident in the info she gave me.
Shell employee & carer
My consultant was able to work around my working pattern when she needed to contact me, which wasn't easy as I am a shift worker. This ensured the calls were taken at a time that was convenient for me and the matter could be discussed in a relaxed and unrushed manner. The work you did really did take the pressure off and made me feel that I wasn't alone in a situation that I had no experience off. A very friendly yet professional service all round. WELL DONE...

Adult & Eldercare Relocation

Moving to or within the UK and bringing an adult dependent can make the transition especially difficult - whether it's an elderly parent or disabled relative

The UK care market is complex and subject to constant change. Trying to understand how a loved one might be cared for in the UK and what support the Local Authority might provide can be very stressful and very time consuming.

How can we ensure a successful move for assignees?

Our Adult & Eldercare Relocation service reduces the time and stress of finding trusted and reliable care in the UK. We ensure employees understand their options, and help them find care they can trust and that suits their lives.

Relocating employees will have a local expert to turn to when they need to find an adult and/or eldercare solution, or have any eldercare related questions.

Our dependent care consultants are available before, during and after the family's move to listen, advise and assist in finding practical care solutions.

Key stages of Adult & Eldercare Relocation

Identifying a need for adult & eldercare support

We're put in touch with the relocating family or they contact us directly. A consultant appropriate to their needs and location is assigned.

One to one discussion

The family and consultant meet to discuss the family's circumstances, budgets and care preferences. Typically we'll meet the family the first time they come to the UK although we can also work remotely.

Advice & guidance

The consultant advises and guides the employee on what to expect about dependent and eldercare in the UK and in the area they are moving to.

Research

Our consultant researches available care solutions and creates an individually tailored care plan.

Making it happen

The consultant is available to perform a practical care search based on all the family's requirements. This can include suitable care home research and information, interviewing home carers, support on claiming benefits and arranging home adaptations... Our consultants do everything and anything needed to put the right care solution in place.

On-going support

Once care is in place the consultant is available for on-going support.

How will it suit my company's needs and budgets?

Our Relocation Solutions can be provided for individual employees, included as part of a comprehensive assignment package, or bought directly by individuals. Our flexible approach means that we can tailor services for a company and an individual's specific needs.

Quicker productivity

When employees know that trusted care that fits around their work and family is in place, they're more likely to be focused and stress-free at work. This means that for a newly relocated employee they're able to get down to business more quickly.

Making the assignment a success

For those with adult dependent responsibilities having the right care in place is a key element to making the family relocation process a success. Adult & Eldercare Relocation can ease the transition for them.

Becoming an employer of choice

From both clients and client's employee feedback, we know it‘s a highly valued benefit. It provides a practical solution and peace of mind for relocating parents who feel less stressed and more valued by their employer.

Peace of mind

Finding the right care for an adult dependent, especially an elderly parent, is fraught with both practical and emotional difficulties especially during the upheaval of a relocation. Knowing that they have the right care can really reduce the stress and turmoil involved for relocating families.

Lightening the relocation load

Researching and finding appropriate care is often a drawn out and time consuming and complicated business. Adult & Eldercare Search provides a means of lightening this load.

Feeling valued

The knowledge their employer recognises the difficulties and supports them in finding the right care solution during the relocation process means that employees are likely to feel more valued by their employer.
