Parenting Network Events

All parents, especially mothers, still have time constraints when balancing time at work and at home.

Often the formal work networking opportunities are not open to parents with young children. By the nature of being a full time worker you are often not included in the child's network either.

We create an environment where working parents have a chance to:

  • Gain knowledge
  • Socialise
  • Set up mentoring systems
  • Create their own bonds/networks within the firm
  • Give parents the information to help them become positive parents who know how to set boundaries

We can arrange quarterly events to include speakers on various topics of interest to parents. From sleep deprivation and managing tantrums for parents with young children through to teenage anxieties, drug awareness in teenagers and study skills for public examinations.

All the workshops are designed to be fun but informative and give parents the knowledge and tools to deal with the many different challenges a parent has to face during the different stages of childhood. There are plenty of opportunities for candidates to ask questions and much of the learning is done by hearing other people's stories. We are always available after the workshop to talk individually with parents who have any particular concerns they do not wish to share with the group.
