Women and black and ethnic minorities continue to be under-represented at the top, yet in these challenging times we need to ensure that all talent is harnessed.
The conference will provide a platform for the sector to influence national policy on equality and diversity and to achieve a workforce that reflects our learners. The programme will also encourage and inspire women and black and ethnic minority professionals to aspire to senior roles.
Key Note Speakers: Key-note speakers will include Sarah Teather MP, Minister of State for Children and Families (conditional on parliamentary business) and leaders from within and outside the sector. Workshops will address issues of policy, good practice in diversity and how to counteract discrimination, as well as providing opportunities for skills and knowledge development.
