Jennifer Liston-Smith, Head of Coaching

 
 
Jennifer Liston-Smith

Jennifer draws on 20 years' experience in consulting, training and coaching with major organisations and has since 2005 been one the UK pioneers of maternity coaching supporting leading employers in settings such as global law firms, investment banks, accountancy firms and other sectors. Her work is covered in the national and industry press as well as frequent conference speaking & writing.

Jennifer's professional development background includes a Law degree from Brasenose College, Oxford, a Masters in Psychology and the leading Post-Graduate Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring Supervision, with Distinction, at Oxford Brookes University Business School.

She is the mother of two boys aged 10 and 7 and understands the challenges of a senior role combined with family life.

 

Amanda Sasada, Executive Coach

 
 
Amanda Sasada

A science graduate, Amanda began her career in the pharmaceutical industry. Starting as a major accounts manager and then training manager, Amanda took responsibility for the design and implementation of bespoke skills and development training programmes. Ultimately Amanda became a senior manager responsible for all learning and management development.

Following a career break, Amanda gained additional qualifications in adult education and has studied a variety of facilitation and training group processes. These include working with protective factors and boundaries and reflective listening. She has achieved additional coaching qualifications in stress management, performance coaching and assertion and communication coaching.

When not working, Amanda is most likely to be jogging with her husband or watching one of her four children playing lacrosse or rugby. Amanda and her family also love skiing.

 

Ferne Traeger, Executive Coach

 
 
Ferne Traeger

Ferne, Founder and President of Beyond the Boardroom, is an executive coach, organisational consultant and psychoanalyst in private practice.

Ferne combines her twenty-five years' experience in business management and organisational consulting with twelve years' clinical practice experience to assist executives and organisations with career transitions, including the employee's transition to parenthood. She is committed to the development of corporate cultures that support the integration of an employee’s work and life needs.

Ferne is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Columbia University Graduate School of Business and New York University Silver School of Social Work. She has a certificate in executive coaching and organisational consulting and is a Member and Director of multiple professional organisations.

 

Sam Pringle, Executive Coach

 
 
Sam Pringle

Sam is a Work Life Consultant and Coach working in areas such as life balance, flexible working, managing maternity leave, gender equality, mentoring for parents at work.

Sam started off her career as a Marine Biologist, and is a MBA graduate with over 10 years management experience in pharmaceuticals.

In 2003 Sam reached the final of the UK Regional Business Manager of the year. She later diversified her work experience by taking secondments in European Business Development and with Marie Curie Cancer Charity. Her coaching skills have been further developed through NLP Master Practioner training.

Sam now works with both public and private sector clients including the Scottish Parliament, Women in Science Engineering and Technology and Scottish law firms.

Outside of work she is an active member of the Lothian Maternity Services Liaison Committee with a particular interest in breastfeeding. She worked as a pro bono business consultant on a breastfeeding initiative with the charity Best Beginnings and is an NCT committee member in Edinburgh South.

With two young children she knows only too well the challenges of managing a family and a career.

 

Ashley Jones, Seminar Presenter & Care Advisor

 
 
Ashley Jones

Ashley draws on a wealth of experience from 20 years working in the care sector. He has many years experience in relation to eldercare, adult dependent care, drug dependency issues and young people with learning difficulties.

Graduating with BA (Hons) in Community Care Management at Kingston University, Ashley has extensive knowledge of both public and private sector care systems.

Ashley brings his experience of advising and supporting individuals and families on everything from hospital discharge to finding solutions and funding for complex care needs. He approaches the topic with a supportive, can-do attitude and a sympathetic understanding of the huge personal challenges involved for carers.

 

Laura White, Seminar Presenter & Ops Manager

 
 
Laura White

Laura is a psychology graduate with Early years practitioner status. She has over 7 years' experience working with children in the early years and in holiday clubs during which she has been a special educational needs coordinator for a large number of children in Surrey.

For My Family Care, Laura developed a range of practical parenting workshops to add to our program of 60minute seminars for parents and carers.

Also working with our sister company, Tinies, Laura is responsible for the management and training of over 100 Holiday Club staff and provides practical childcare and development programs for creche staff and staff at David Lloyd covering subjects including behaviour management, special needs and the early years curriculum - to name just a few.

Laure Fau, Executive Coach

 
 
Laure Fau

Laure is a career coach and consultant. Born in France, Laure has lived in London since 1994, with a 6-year break in Dublin. So her accent lives somewhere between all three.

She worked in the City for several years before going on maternity leave and being introduced to coaching. At that time her employer was trying to develop a coaching culture for performance management.

After receiving and seeing the benefits of coaching, she began to deliver internal coaching before eventually branching out on her own.
