Meet our Care Consultants & Childcare Experts
Our nationwide team will do everything and anything needed to put the right childcare or dependent care solution in place
Sarah Blatchford, Operations Manager
Sarah runs what we call our "field team" - the childcare consultants we have throughout the country that provide specialist one to one Childcare Search to our clients' employees.
Sarah was part of the BUPA Childcare team, previously working on and then managing our Helpline supporting working parents and carers in finding suitable care arrangements.
As a qualified nursery nurse Sarah has worked in various settings, including: a day nursery, a nursery attached to an infant school, holiday clubs and as an emergency nanny. She took a few years out of the childcare arena to work as a Customer Service Advisor at BUPA before finding her 'perfect' job combining all her skills and qualifications.
Sarah successfully balances work with taking care of her young son (and husband).
Harriet Dean, Childcare Consultant
Harriet worked as a special needs nanny before completing her Registered Nurse training. Her professional background led her to work in Europe and the US, returning to take up a position as Practise Nurse for a busy NHS surgery in London.
Harriet is well known within P&G where she was involved in setting up their highly successful Childcare Advisory Service in 1995.
She has delivered training sessions and seminars that cover all aspects of the childcare arena and continues to support individual P&G families who are looking for expert advice when faced with the challenge of finding suitable childcare.
Alison Mason, Childcare Consultant
Alison has helped find quality childcare and solve childcare related problems for hundreds of My Family Care's clients over the past 15 years.
Married with two grown up children, Alison originally worked as a neo-natal Intensive Care Nurse, working in units in the North West and South of England.
She expertly reassures parents at the particularly vulnerable stages just before and immediately after child birth.
Margaret McMenemy, Childcare Consultant
Margaret worked as a qualified childminder before working as a Development Officer with The Scottish Childminding Association when her two children were older.
She worked closely with the Aberdeenshire Childcare Partnership and the Care Commission to support and recruit childminders for 3 years.
This led to Margaret studying and gaining a BA Open Degree with modules including child development, working with children and families, health promotion, health and social care and childhood and youth studies.
Miranda Russell, Childcare Consultant
Miranda has worked in various childcare settings, gaining experience caring for children of all ages. Her roles have included nursery nurse and deputy manager of a large holiday club.
Miranda identifies with the trials and tribulations of trying to achieve a suitable work/life balance. She sources childcare for prospective, new and parents with changing circumstances.
Angela Johnson, Childcare Consultant
Angela is a married mother of two and holds a degree and diploma in Childcare and Education.
